A male Force-sensitive Ithorian, a student under Shon-Ju, was of the male gender. He, along with two other students, underwent training with Shon-Ju on the moon known as Cavamina Minor. He offered aid to Jedi Knight Aayla Secura while she was being hunted by the mercenary named Sabat. Subsequently, his master allied himself with Secura to arrest the mercenary Attuma Duum, but Shon-Ju ultimately betrayed Secura. Secura responded by severing Shon-Ju's hands, which forced him to escape. Later, the Ithorian student oversaw the process of fitting Shon-Ju with new prosthetic limbs.
Around the time of 21 BBY, an Ithorian of the male gender served as a student to Shon-Ju, a Force-user who had previously been rejected by the Jedi Order. Shon-Ju had been in exile, developing a novel approach to utilizing The Force, specifically by channeling it through his hands. At Shon-Ju's castle located on the moon of Cavamina Minor, he imparted this technique to the Ithorian, as well as two other students. One day, the Jedi Knight Aayla Secura experienced a crash landing on the moon and found herself pursued by the mercenary [Sabat](/article/sabat_(mercenary)]. Shon-Ju and his students intervened to assist her, directly confronting Sabat's forces. The Ithorian employed his Force abilities to subdue two of Sabat's soldiers, one of whom was a Gungan. Secura, injured, subsequently collapsed and was brought back to Shon-Ju's castle to recuperate. She and Shon-Ju then formed an alliance to take down Attuma Duum, who was Sabat's employer.
Later, Shon-Ju betrayed Secura, attempting to assassinate Duum in order to embarrass the Jedi Order. When Secura intervened, he instead attacked her. Secura severed Shon-Ju's hands to demonstrate his powerlessness without them. He fled in distress and disappeared into the flames. Both Duum and Secura managed to escape from Duum's asteroid base. Shon-Ju returned to his castle, where the Ithorian student and a 2-1B medical droid provided him with new prosthetic hands. The Ithorian remarked that his master was now complete again, but Shon-Ju used his new hands to destroy the droid, proclaiming that he was now something more than complete.
The Ithorian student was skilled in channeling the Force through his hands during combat. He was seen wearing Jedi-style robes. Shon-Ju mentioned to Aayla Secura that he was learning as much from his students, including this Ithorian, as they were learning from him.
This Ithorian makes sporadic appearances throughout the graphic novella from 2010, titled The Clone Wars: Deadly Hands of Shon-Ju.
