A Human with tattoos served as a Sith operative around 1000 BBY. He journeyed to the world of Ceriun following the crash landing of a Jedi starfighter that contained a Jedi holocron. The Sith pinpointed the holocron's location to a hut. Inside, a group of young local farmers were battling several adult members of their tribe over ownership of the recovered artifact. The Sith then made his entrance.
After seizing the holocron, the Sith was prevented from leaving by Tenno. Tenno had orchestrated the young farmers' efforts, hoping they would be rewarded with the chance to become Sith apprentices. In a fit of rage, the Sith murdered Tenno's companions, declaring their endeavors pointless. Despite this, he thanked Tenno before departing the scene of the carnage, warning the present adults to leave the young man in peace.

Around 1000 BBY, an individual of the Human race was involved in the Sith tradition, focusing on Force-users aligned with the dark side. He arrived on the planet Ceriun in the Outer Rim Territories two days after a Jedi starfighter, carrying a Jedi holocron, had crashed. His goal was to find the artifact. He located the holocron in a hut within the Drop Canyon region of the planet. Inside, a group of young farmers from a local tribe were engaged in a violent struggle with several adult members of the tribe for possession of the artifact. The darksider arrived at the hut on his speeder bike, forcefully opened the door, disregarded the bloody scene, retrieved the holocron, and began to return to his vehicle.
As the Sith placed the artifact into a bag on his bike, Tenno intervened. Tenno, a young man, had planned to take the holocron from the adults and give it to the Sith, hoping he and his friends would be rewarded with becoming Sith apprentices. After Tenno explained his reasoning, the Sith questioned whether he should give the young farmers their "reward." At that moment, the enraged Sith ignited his lightsaber and commenced killing Tenno's friends, including Flass and Geenor.
In a panic, Tenno attempted to flee the slaughter but collided with the darksider. The Sith then dismissed Tenno's efforts to aid him as irrelevant and unimpressive, claiming that the farmer had no understanding of the true nature of a Sith. Despite this, as the darksider mounted his speeder bike, he thanked Tenno. Before departing, he ordered the adult farmers to leave the young man alone, threatening consequences for disobedience.
The Sith was a Human with tan skin, eyes with light-colored irises, and red sclerae. Golden patterned tattoos covered his face, neck, and upper arms. While searching for the Jedi holocron, the Sith appeared focused and collected. However, he launched a furious and murderous attack when Tenno revealed his ambitions and motives for securing the artifact for the Sith. The darksider then articulated the philosophy that the Sith simply take what they desire, rendering Tenno's efforts meaningless. Nevertheless, he ultimately thanked the young farmer for his assistance.
The Sith possessed skill in the lethal use of a lightsaber.
The Sith wore black sleeveless shirt, black pants, and boots, along with a double belt containing several pouches. His lightsaber was attached to his belt. The Sith's speeder bike resembled the Razalon FC-20 speeder bike, used by the Sith roughly a millennium later.

The tattooed Sith made his debut in "All for You," a comic story written by Adam Gallardo and pencilled by Greg Titus. It was published in the seventeenth issue of the Star Wars Tales comic-book series on October 1, 2003. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia from 2008 contains two apparent errors regarding the Sith's depiction in the comic. First, the book suggests that Ka'arn was among the group of friends killed by the Sith, while in reality, he was Tenno's father who was killed earlier by his son.
Second, the book claims that the Sith killed the individuals who had "recovered" the Jedi holocron. The book implies that these were the ones who retrieved the artifact from the crashed Jedi starship. However, "All for You" establishes that the holocron was retrieved by a group of adults, and the comic only depicts the Sith killing several of the young farmers who later attempted to take the artifact from them.
