Ka'arn

title: Ka'arn

Ka'arn was a male Human who resided on the planet Ceriun circa 1000 BBY. His life came to an end at the hands of his son, Tenno, during a conflict over possession of a holocron.

Biography

Hailing from the primitive agrarian world of Ceriun, Ka'arn held a leadership position within the village of Drop Canyon. An incident occurred when a starship crashed in close proximity to the village, prompting Ka'arn and a group of villagers to investigate the wreckage. At the crash site, they encountered a Jedi who was near death. The Jedi entrusted them with a holocron, requesting that they safeguard it until fellow Jedi arrived to retrieve it.

Tenno, Ka'arn's son, overheard a conversation between his father and Morro, a respected elder of the village, regarding the holocron. Driven by the hope that the Sith would recognize his worth and transport him and his friends away from Ceriun, Tenno devised a plan to forcibly seize the holocron. Tenno's relationship with Ka'arn was strained due to his father's strict and physically abusive parenting style. When Ka'arn discovered that another boy from the village had been discussing the Sith, he suspected Tenno of listening in on his private conversations. Consequently, Ka'arn forbade Tenno from attending an upcoming meeting intended to determine the fate of the holocron.

During the meeting of the men and elders of Drop Canyon village, Tenno and his comrades, armed with weapons, disrupted the proceedings. Ka'arn, enraged by his son's defiance, impulsively attacked him. In response, Tenno stabbed Ka'arn in the chest, resulting in his death. This act of patricide quickly devolved into a violent altercation between the young villagers and the adult men, resulting in additional fatalities. Ultimately, Tenno faced betrayal when a tattooed Sith appeared, seizing the holocron for themselves.
