Ceriun existed as a planet with a solid surface, situated within the Ceriun system, itself a part of the Outer Rim Territories. Roughly a millennium Before the Battle of Yavin, a Sith bearing tattoos made a trip to the planet in order to recover a Sith holocron; a Jedi had previously moved it there.
