Raspar-6 was a moon of the terrestrial type. On Raspar-6, an atomic blast occurred. A weather prediction that followed—calling Raspar-6 a "delinquent moon"—for the West Fissure area of an agricultural planet predicted that the planet's atmosphere would be impacted by the explosion, perhaps resulting in climate changes in the West Fissure lasting for months.
The book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, published in 1993, mentioned Raspar-6. This book features creature designs and images from various projects by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, alongside original writing by Bob Carrau. Leland Chee, an employee of Lucasfilm who manages the Holocron continuity database, stated that the information within Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas does not align with the Star Wars Legends storyline, therefore it is non-canonical. However, the 2009 sourcebook The Essential Atlas and its Online Companion on StarWars.com expanded upon the mention of Raspar-6 by introducing the Raspar system, located in the Tragan Cluster of the New Territories region within the Outer Rim Territories.
