Atomic blast on Raspar-6

The nuclear detonation on Raspar-6 constituted a significant atomic explosion. This event occurred on the moon called Raspar-6, a celestial body situated within the Tragan Cluster and part of the larger Outer Rim Territories. During the Stolivea timeframe, according to the calendar of a neighboring world, the explosion had an impact on the planet's atmosphere. It was anticipated that this impact would result in the spread of talking fogs into lower-lying areas, the creation of irrational echoes, substantial rainfall, and snowfall at lower altitudes. It was recommended that dust farmers on the affected planet compost and transition to hydroponics within fribulation tanks during this period, which was projected to extend until the middle of Aint or the beginning of Nnters.

Behind the scenes

The atomic blast on Raspar-6 was referenced in a single-page weather report. This report, titled "Region 29: The West Fissure," was authored by Bob Carrau and appeared in the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas. This book integrates creature designs and images from various George Lucas projects alongside original writing from Carrau. Leland Chee, an employee of Lucasfilm responsible for the Holocron continuity database, has stated that details presented in this book are considered non-canonical.
