Voorpee's clones created chaos as they assaulted the Talent Show participants.
The Jedi Academy Talent Show represented a showcase of skills hosted within the Jedi academy, which was situated at the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. This particular talent show transpired during the third year that Jedi Padawan Roan Novachez was in attendance, occurring shortly before the spring holiday. The initial announcement for the talent show came in the form of a "welcome back" circular distributed to all students at the start of the academic year. As the event drew closer, another announcement was posted around the Temple grounds, outlining the rules: students could utilize the Force as part of their performances if desired, each act was allotted a five minutes time slot (after which disruptive music would commence until the performer exited), the use of smoke, fire, or pyrotechnics was strictly prohibited, and participants were encouraged to enjoy themselves without concern for embarrassment. Students who required audiovisual assistance were advised to contact Bill, a fellow Padawan with disc jockeying expertise. The top prize was a Jedi Medallion Replica, which would be awarded by Student Council President Ronald Rinzler, who also served as the show's master of ceremonies. By participating, students agreed to have their performances holorecorded and uploaded to Holobook.
Before the talent show commenced, the order of performances was set. Following introductory remarks from Rinzler, Jo-Ahn was slated to present a shadow puppet show using only their hands. Shi-Fara was next, showcasing yo-yo skills, after which Tegan and Bill were to perform a collaborative music and dance piece. Novachez and Gaiana (whose name was incorrectly spelled "Gaina" in the printed program) were scheduled to follow with tricks involving the trained voorpak named Voorpee, succeeded by Cyrus and his hula-hoop routine. Mary was to then deliver a poetry performance, and Cronah would follow with a stand-up comedy act. Additional performances were planned after a break.
The talent show appeared to be proceeding smoothly until Novachez and Gaiana's turn arrived. Voorpee refused to execute any of the instructed commands, such as "jump" or "roll over," and instead jumped onto Gaiana's head and proceeded to urinate. As Cyrus took the stage with his hula-hoops, hundreds of voorpak clones seemingly materialized from thin air, rampaging through the audience and causing Cyrus to fall, resulting in a broken arm. The talent show was completed the following day in the Temple's gymnasium, where Cronah delivered numerous jokes at the expense of Novachez and Gaiana. It was later revealed that Cronah, working in conjunction with Bill, orchestrated the cloned voorpak incident.
