While being heavily chased by Preybird starfighters, a pair of members belonging to Dunari's coalition managed to flee from the Hurrim's asteroid base aboard the Merte, which was a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. To protect the withdrawal until the shuttle jumped to hyperspace, Alliance High Command dispatched a combat team consisting of a pair of A-wings.
