Veda reigned as the queen of Gala, and she was also the mother of Prince Beju.
After the death of her husband, King Cana, Veda became the sole ruler of Galu and the rest of Gala. Unbeknownst to her, Veda was the target of a poisoning plot orchestrated by Jono Dunn, her son Beju, and Giba, all palace servants. Obi-Wan Kenobi informed the queen about the poisoning, confirming her suspicions as she felt her health declining. The poison was being administered through her nightly tea. Upon discovering that Elan possessed the Mark of the Crown, and not himself, Beju withdrew from the election. Following the election of Wila Prammi as Governor, Veda continued her life alongside her son.
