A TracSheet served as a record employed by both the Galactic Empire and the New Republic. It documented accusations against criminals operating within the government's territory. These TracSheets saw distribution either in a localized area for minor offenses, or across a broader region for serious crimes, invariably reaching members of the police.
Contained within a TracSheet was information such as the fugitive's name, species, sex, height, age, physical description, and a visual depiction. It also detailed the criminal acts and charges levied against the individual, along with insights into their operational methods. Frequently, the TracSheet would include a recorded sample of the person's speech, offering a glimpse into the criminal's mindset. Every TracSheet was assigned a unique identifier, formatted as eight numbers, a hyphen, four letters, another hyphen, and finally five or six numbers. Certain TracSheets functioned as the basis for posting a reward for the capture of the individual.
