After the battle, Grand Admiral Miltin Takel personally bestowed upon Lanox the Distinguished Medal of Imperial Honor in recognition of his valor during the capture of Horob.
In 11 ABY, Lanox remained a captain when Byss, the throne world of the resurrected Palpatine, met its destruction. Upon hearing news of this occurrence, Lanox became persuaded that the Empire's fate was sealed.
