Raan Stasheff, a male Human, was a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, he functioned as Sayer Mon Neela's protector. His father had been with the Alliance since the Battle of Yavin, following in the footsteps of his own father who served in CorSec. During Neela's escape from the Imperial forces on the Imperial Hazard, Stasheff intercepted a blaster bolt meant for her, and he later recuperated at the Alliance installation located on Carosi XII.
