Selima DeWitt was a Human woman who existed near the end of the Galactic Republic's existence, during its final years.
Living on the planet of Cularin, DeWitt was the daughter of Davin DeWitt, who held the position of Baron Administrator for the platform city known as Bayonard. She frequented places like the Space Monkey Café and the Tyger Burning Bright club, which led to her becoming acquainted with Narask, a Trandoshan bounty hunter, and Tyburn Welles, a former Jedi.
After Percival Vale made his way to Cularin, DeWitt entered into a romantic relationship with him. They relocated to the city of Gadrin, where they became members of the Bark Lovers' Alliance, a local organization focused on environmentalism, and established the business Natural. However, Higgie Sethven, a Cerean employed at the shop, began to produce a potent drug on the premises. Consequently, both Culpharm and Genasys dispatched corporate security teams to the shop in an attempt to acquire the drug. In the ensuing gunfight, DeWitt, Vale, and Sethven sought refuge inside the shop. Ultimately, they were rescued by a group of freelance agents that DeWitt's father had employed to locate her, as she had lost contact with him.
DeWitt went back to Bayonard and, with her father's consent, married Vale not long after.
