Norba Nuum, sibling to Rusk Nuum and offspring of Cabrool Nuum, presented an outward appearance of quietness when compared to her brother. However, in truth, Norba possessed the greatest ambition among Cabrool's progeny.

Following Rusk's imprisonment of Jabba Desilijic Tiure within the dungeon for his refusal to assassinate their family's adversary, Vu Chusker, Norba released Jabba. Her condition for this freedom was the assassination of her brother, which would secure her position as the sole inheritor of the Nuum family's extensive criminal organization. Nevertheless, subsequent to Jabba's execution of Rusk, Norba double-crossed him, commanding her security personnel to return Jabba to his dungeon cell for the murder of her brother.
Subsequently, Norba descended to Jabba's confinement, proposing his liberation in exchange for a pledge to eliminate Vu Chusker. She even displayed the key necessary to unlock his cell. Weary and exasperated by this constant shifting of allegiances, Jabba informed Norba that he would whisper his response. As Norba approached to hear his reply, Jabba's tongue darted out, seizing Norba and dragging her through the cell door's opening and into his open mouth. He then consumed her entirely. After a short fight, she dropped the key directly into Jabba's hand, enabling the Hutt to break free from the dungeon, with Norba Nuum still struggling and being digested alive within him. She was the final member of the Nuum House to meet her end, following the deaths of her father and brother.
