Kendo Ryzak

Kendo Ryzak existed during the Galactic Civil War era. He was a male Human mercenary of some renown.

Biography

Following the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire engaged Kendo Ryzak and his band of hired guns to provide security for a clandestine Imperial research facility located on the planet Lok. A dispute existed between General Otto, who commanded the Imperial garrison stationed on Lok, and the officers overseeing the research facility. As a result, these officers chose to deploy mercenaries and battle droids for the facility's defense, rather than requesting troops from Otto. Udo Barnet and Kell Lapaz were the leaders of the mercenary force. The mercenaries found their assignment at the Imperial Research Facility to be quite tedious. Consequently, some of them, including Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven, became involved in illicit activities. Their frequent interference in the affairs of the Lok Revenants, Lok's most influential criminal syndicate, incurred the wrath of their warlord leader, Nym.

In the year 1 ABY, Nym, along with his second-in-command Kole, plotted a raid on the Imperial research facility with the intention of stealing the advanced weaponry being developed there. Mako Ghast, another of Nym's lieutenants, saw the planned attack on the facility as a golden opportunity to eliminate some troublesome mercenaries. Subsequently, a group of spacers allied with the Lok Revenants launched an assault on the research facility. Despite facing resistance from numerous mercenaries, they successfully acquired experimental weapons and crucial research data. During this conflict, Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven were ambushed by a group of Revenants and met their demise in the resulting gunfight.
