Jeran Tarven

A Human male mercenary named Jeran Tarven existed during the Galactic Civil War, a period in time.

Biography

Following the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire hired Jeran Tarven and his mercenary band to provide security for a classified Imperial research facility located on the planet Lok. Due to tensions between General Otto, who commanded the Imperial garrison on Lok, and the Imperial officers overseeing the research facility, these officers opted to use mercenaries and battle droids for security instead of relying on Otto's forces. Udo Barnet and Kell Lapaz were in charge of these mercenaries. The mercenaries found their work at the Imperial Research Facility to be quite dull, and some, including Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven, became involved in illicit activities. Their frequent interference in the affairs of the Lok Revenants, Lok's most influential criminal organization, angered their leader, the warlord Nym.

In 1 ABY, Nym and his second-in-command, Kole, planned a raid on the Imperial research facility with the intention of stealing the weapons being developed there. As the criminals formulated their strategy, Mako Ghast, another of Nym's lieutenants, saw the attack on the facility as a perfect chance to eliminate some troublesome mercenaries. A group of spacers connected to the Lok Revenants then launched an assault on the research facility. After battling through numerous mercenaries to gain access to the research complex, they successfully acquired experimental weapons and research data. During this conflict, a Revenant squad ambushed Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven, killing them in the ensuing gunfight.
