Keldabe spaceport

The primary spaceport of [Mandalore](/article/mandalore/legends], the planet whose capital had long been Keldabe, was the Keldabe spaceport. This bustling hub, the busiest on Mandalore, was situated within the city of Keldabe and operated under the guidance of Keldabe Air Traffic Control. Keldabe's importance as both a crucial planetary center and the seat of government for much of Mandalorian space contributed to the spaceport's high traffic. Many Mandalorian pilots relied on the hundred-meter-tall tower belonging to MandalMotors for manual navigation in and around the spaceport, whose landing strips consisted of smooth permacrete.

During 18 BBY, Jax Pavan, a Jedi Knight concealing himself, arrived at the Keldabe spaceport during his search on Mandalore for information regarding the location of his friend and Whiplash ally, Thi Xon Yimmon. Following the death of Galactic Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Endor, the Mandalorian Protectors implemented a strict lockdown of Mandalorian space, patrolling it using a fleet of Pursuer-class enforcement ships. When faced with a hostile capital ship, the Mandalorian Protectors would board the ship, seize control of its bridge, and escort it to the Mandalore spaceport located in Keldabe. In the years leading up to the Yuuzhan Vong War later on, Mand'alor Boba Fett secretly conferred with Nom Anor, a scout from the Yuuzhan Vong, at the Keldabe spaceport, all while being monitored by Keldabe Air Traffic Control.

In 41 ABY, Jaina Solo, a Jedi Knight, was instructed by Keldabe Air Traffic Control to land at the Keldabe spaceport when she journeyed to Mandalore seeking assistance from Boba Fett. After being escorted to the landing strip by a Bes'uliik-class starfighter, Solo landed, where she was greeted by Goran Beviin, a Mandalorian soldier, who then took her to the Oyu'baat cantina in order to meet with Fett. During Solo's visit, the spaceport was filled with Mandalorians who had been summoned by the Mand'alor from across the galaxy to support the recovery of the Mandalorian homeworld following the attack on the planet by the Yuuzhan Vong decades prior.
