Joey Fatone, recognized as both a singer and actor, gained prominence as a member of the boy band NSYNC. Originally, Fatone was slated to make an appearance as a Jedi in the 2002 prequel trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, along with his brother Steven Fatone and fellow NSYNC bandmates JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick. However, Fatone later verified that their scene was ultimately removed due to negative reactions from fans. In contrast, Lucasfilm Ltd. representative Lynne Hale could not confirm the removal of their roles, indicating that the final decision rested with director and franchise creator George Lucas. In the end, Fatone's character and related scene did not appear in Attack of the Clones.
