Griphon, an Imperial Delta-class JV-7 escort shuttle, saw service throughout the Galactic Civil War. This shuttle, together with its counterpart Manticore, had the duty of escorting the Dreadnaught VTR-LX, which was transporting prisoners of war, to the Bundil II penal station (Bundil II). Sadly, both shuttle escorts were lost during a Rebel rescue operation, which also resulted in the destruction of the VTR-LX.
