Glenk

Glenk, a Kubaz Sith of the male persuasion, served as a member of Lord Odion's Novitiates during the time of the Republic Dark Age. Despite this outward allegiance, he secretly worked for the Sith Lord Daiman, infiltrating the Novitiates to monitor Kerra Holt on Daiman's behalf. Odion personally selected Glenk's Novitiate team to revive Project Pandemonium, an initiative aimed at retrieving the ancient Sith artifact known as the Helm of Ieldis, a superweapon with the power to incite murderous rage in sentient beings. He participated in the battles on Skarpos and the invasion of Sarrassia. Following the Sarrassia invasion, he vanished, delivering his intelligence to Daiman, who sought the Helm for his own purposes. Glenk was present during the three-way Second Battle of Skarpos, where the Helm's influence drove him to attack Daiman. However, Daiman retaliated with Force lightning, causing Glenk to fall to his death below the Morbollon Mesa.

Biography

Glenk held a position within Lord Odion's Novitiates, an exclusive group of dark side adherents devoted to Odion's nihilistic beliefs. However, his true allegiance lay with Sith Lord Daiman, Odion's estranged younger sibling embroiled in a familial dispute with his elder brother. In 1032 BBY, Daiman tasked him with observing Jedi Knight Kerra Holt and providing information. With Daiman's assistance, Kerra had infiltrated the Odionate disguised as a young Novitiate named "Mercy". Daiman had experienced apocalyptic visions of a tribulation emanating from Odion's realm and needed help to stop him, even from his nominal Jedi opponents.

Glenk took part in the invasion of Skarpos, a desolate desert planet previously under the rule of Lord Malakite, who governed a territory in the Grumani sector known as the Menagerie. During the conflict, he was observed disembarking from a vessel alongside Kerra Holt. Subsequently, he and his Novitiate team were summoned back to Odion's capital, Jubalene, and reassigned to the mission of recovering the Helm of Ieldis, an ancient Sith artifact crafted by Lord Ieldis before the Great Hyperspace War. This Helm possessed the capability to induce homicidal madness in sentient beings. Previously, Odion had established Project Pandemonium to retrieve the Helm, but its trail had gone cold on Sarrassia in 1039 BBY.

Daiman killing a maddened Glenk

During the Invasion of Sarrassia, Glenk participated in a cleanup operation led by the Feeorin Novitiate Doyan targeting Grumani Hierophants at Mount Diligence. He and his team explored the underground tunnels but were separated from "Mercy". They then stumbled on a temple which was destroyed by the Hierophant Zoojoo who detonated it, burying herself under it and denying the Sith access to its secrets. However, Mercy survived and revealed that the Helm of Ieldis was on Skarpos. Glenk and his comrades survived the explosion and he took advantage of the traveling preparations to slip away and report back to Daiman. However, his absence was noted by his team-mates who suspected that he was trying to reach the Helm first so that he could take all the glory for himself.

His deception came to light for Beld Yulan and the other Novitiates when he was spotted alongside Daiman on a chariot. Glenk was present at the Second Battle of Skarpos, which evolved into a three-sided conflict involving the forces of three rival Sith Lords: Odion, Malakite, and Daiman. Despite the efforts of Glenk and Kerra, Lord Odion managed to reach the Helm of Ieldis before his competitors. Odion then donned the Helm and activated it, unleashing its power upon the armies engaged in battle below the mesa. The three armies immediately succumbed to a state of crazed, murderous frenzy. Glenk himself was affected by the Helm's influence and attempted to slay Daiman with his lightsaber. Daiman responded with Force lightning, causing Glenk to fall from the chariot and plummet to his death beneath the Morbollon Mesa.

Personality and traits

Limited information exists regarding Glenk's personality and motivations, given his limited role in the events of Star Wars: Knight Errant: Escape. However, his fellow Novitiates, particularly Doyan, considered him to be elusive and opportunistic following his disappearance during the invasion of Sarrassia. They surmised that he sought to acquire the Helm of Ieldis first in order to claim all the credit for himself. As a double agent serving Daiman, Odion's estranged younger brother, Glenk possessed a "poker-face" demeanor that allowed him to avoid suspicion, in contrast to Jedi Knight Kerra Holt, who struggled to maintain her secret identity due to the fundamental conflict between Odion's Sith teachings and those of the Jedi Order. Glenk was a dedicated servant to his true master, Daiman, and the Kubaz viewed serving the Sith Lord as the primary purpose of his life. Nevertheless, Glenk's loyalty proved insufficient to resist the maddening, homicidal impulses induced by the ancient Sith artifact, the Helm of Ieldis. Under the control of a Force-induced madness, Glenk lost control and attempted to kill Daiman but was instead killed by the Sith Lord.

Powers and abilities

In combat, he wore a cape and mask on his snout and wielded a red lightsaber.
