Skarpos, situated within the Grumani sector, existed as a primitive world dominated by the Sith Lord known as Malakite. This planet, characterized by its trench-filled landscape, imposing mesa, and tempestuous weather, faced invasion and subsequent occupation by the Odionate forces of the rival Sith Lord Odion in the year 1032 BBY. Subsequently, Aunt Zoojoo disclosed to Jedi Knight Kerra Holt that Skarpos held the Helm of Ieldis, an age-old Sith relic crafted before the Great Hyperspace War and the objective of Odion's Project Pandemonium. Under the guise of a Novitiate called "Mercy," Kerra, along with her fellow Novitiates, journeyed back to Skarpos, only to find themselves instantly under attack from both Malakite's reinforcements and the military power of Sith Lord Daiman.
