Demos Traxen, an Imperial bounty hunter, was dispatched to Kallistas with the mission of apprehending Pallas Quintell not long after the Battle of Yavin. He secured transport aboard the Red Fang, traveling with Tarquin Zian. After reaching his destination, Traxen discovered that Quintell had previously been taken into custody by competing bounty hunters. He attributed his inability to capture the Rebel to the Twi'lek captain, who dedicated a significant portion of the voyage to steering clear of Imperial involvement. Sometime after this, Traxen was contracted by prefect Dengless Rinn of Kallistas to locate the pirate Jondrell Inx, working alongside fellow bounty hunters Sirenas Firil and Chandrex Grenn.
