The title of Lady was held by Amber Comark, daughter to Imperial Moff Jesco Comark within the Legends continuity. Born on the planet of Chandrila, she participated in the Empire's social scene by going to prominent events, like the performance of The Kallea Cycle. As a member of a Core World noble family, she spent a significant amount of time on Imperial Center where she befriended a Rebel spy known as "Tigress," who was undercover as a librarian working in the Imperial Archives. Having been raised under the Empire's authority, Comark was unaware of the Imperials' true nature. She was deeply disturbed when her friend was exposed, detained, and subjected to harsh interrogation. Comark later learned from her father that the Empire had executed her friend. Motivated by her friend's death, Comark decided to continue her work. She assumed the identity of "Tigress" and began spying on the Empire, regularly sending reports to Alliance Intelligence. Despite noticing a change in the style of reports from the new "Tigress" and concerns about a decline in information accuracy, the Alliance maintained contact with Comark.
While working as a spy for the Alliance, Comark discovered details about her father's latest initiative, Operation Death-Hunter. As she gathered more information about the project, Comark grew increasingly anxious for the Alliance to intervene and investigate her reports. She created a path for Alliance agents to follow, leaving her R2 droid, R2-B4, at the Jaemus shipyards to relay the data she had collected. Simultaneously, Comark traveled to the planet Bescane, where reports indicated kidnappings related to Operation Death-Hunter had occurred. After joining forces with a team of Rebels who had responded to her reports, the group decided to investigate the reported kidnappings, which led them to the remote world of Zeta Zero Nine. Inside an underwater base on the planet, Comark and her team found that the kidnapped individuals were being transformed into Death-Hunter Cyborgs. During a confrontation with her father at the base, Comark revealed her true allegiance and turned against the Imperials. In the ensuing struggle, she freed the prisoners, and together with the Rebels, destroyed the base, thus ending the threat posed by the project. With her cover compromised, Comark formally joined the Alliance, seeking to contribute to the Rebellion in a different capacity.
Lady Amber Comark came from a distinguished Chandrilan family originating from the Core World of Chandrila. Her father, Jesco Comark, served as an Imperial Moff and was known for his unwavering support of the New Order. The family was recognized by their crest, which was displayed on their most cherished items, including a brooch that Amber received as an early birthday gift. Comark's influential family and her noble status allowed her to enjoy the benefits provided by the Empire. She received invitations to prominent events, such as a gala hosted by Imperial Advisor Kren Blista-Vanee to celebrate the opening night of The Kallea Cycle. She was known to use spice, supplied by the well-known spice runner, Wendell Wright-Sims. However, her presence on Coruscant was not solely for pleasure. She often visited the Imperial Archives, where she formed a friendship with one of the librarians. Comark later discovered that the librarian was not who she seemed to be; she was, in fact, a Rebel spy working with Alliance Intelligence under the codename "Tigress." This revelation did not end their friendship, but their association was short-lived. Imperial Intelligence soon discovered "Tigress" and arrested her. Comark's friend disappeared shortly after, and Comark only learned of her friend's death from her father, a leading member of Renik, the counter-espionage branch of Imperial Intelligence.
Comark, having grown up under the Empire's influence and being somewhat naive about the true nature of its rulers, was deeply affected by her friend's death. To honor her memory, Comark decided to continue her work, adopting the identity of "Tigress" and regularly reporting to Alliance Intelligence. However, the Alliance noticed the change and became suspicious due to the temporary break in communication. Additionally, Comark was not a trained spy, and her reports were not as professional as those of the previous "Tigress." Her information was also less reliable, with an accuracy rate of only sixty percent compared to the previous spy's eighty percent. General Crix Madine suspected that the new "Tigress" might be an Imperial double agent, but the Alliance continued to receive her reports.

While working as a Rebel spy, Comark uncovered a secret project that her father was involved in, known as Operation Death-Hunter. Due to her father's connections with Renik, Comark learned from a trusted informant within the organization that the project was abducting Humans from the planet Bescane. Her informant died while providing her with this information, cutting off her source. Concerned about the resources being allocated to the project, Comark contacted General Madine, hoping he would send a team to investigate her reports. Despite Madine's hesitation, as he suspected an Imperial trap, Comark persisted, providing information that the Jaemus shipyards were producing modified Tech 4 Plexus Droid Vessels for the project. Madine, hoping to achieve multiple objectives, decided to send a SpecOps team to investigate the claims and determine if the new "Tigress" was a double agent. Anticipating a Rebel investigation of the shipyards, Comark left her personal R2 droid, R2-B4, to greet the team and assist them in examining the modified droid vessels. The droid was also programmed to guide them to Bescane, where they would contact Cooper Dray, another Rebel spy.
While the SpecOps team followed the trail Comark had set, Comark traveled to Bescane to meet with Cooper Dray. They met at the Arcade Omicron cantina in the city of Lumchugger's Hub, where Comark informed her contact that a SpecOps team would arrive to seek his assistance. When Dray saw the Rebels enter the cantina, he excused "Tigress" to speak with them. Comark observed from the shadows and was shocked when Bescane officials attacked the group and captured Dray. Comark expected Dray to be handed over to her father, as he matched the description of the kidnapped humans. Comark informed the Rebel team that she had tracked ships transporting kidnapped humans to the Wastes but could not pinpoint their destination or purpose. To enter the Wastes and investigate, Comark informed the group that they needed permits from the Imperial Trade and Commerce Authority. Due to the urgency, the group decided to obtain forged permits, using a counterfeiter known as "Lucky" Ordomire.
The Rebel group, aided by Dray's swoop gang, Cooper's Swoopers, located Ordomire, but he was reluctant to help. Comark reminded Ordomire that he was fortunate that they represented the Rebellion and not the Empire. She bribed him into helping by offering her brooch, a valuable family heirloom, as payment for the forged documents. However, upon completion of the forgeries, Imperial forces raided Ordomire's warehouse.
Imperial stormtroopers, led by a fearsome cyborg, opened fire on the Rebels, causing them to scatter. The cyborg targeted Comark, aiming his turbocannon at her. However, the cyborg fired at combustible materials nearby, causing an explosion that knocked her unconscious. As the Rebels fought off the stormtroopers, the cyborg grabbed Comark and escaped from Ordomire's warehouse. The cyborg, the result of her father's Death-Hunter project, took her to an Imperial shuttle and quickly left Bescane for the Wastes. The shuttle eventually arrived at Zeta 0-9, the location of an underwater base that served as the center of the Death-Hunter project. Comark's Rebel allies followed the fleeing shuttle's ion trail, arriving on the world where they were immediately captured.

Upon arriving at the underwater base, Comark had her arm bandaged, as it had been injured during the encounter with the cyborg. She was brought before her father, who had learned of her Rebel activities. Frustrated with his daughter, he ordered her to go to her personal quarters and remain there while he continued his work. However, Comark had become disillusioned with the Imperials. Ignoring her father's orders, she left her quarters and infiltrated the facility's detention center. There, she freed most of the prisoners, sparking a revolt. As she continued her sabotage, Comark noticed her father interrogating the SpecOps team that had followed her to Zeta 0-9. When the Imperial Moff ordered one of his Death-Hunter cyborgs to execute the team, she intervened. To her father's shock, she stopped the Death-Hunter Cyborg, rescued the Rebels, and attacked her father's forces. The tide quickly turned against her father, and the Rebels escaped with Cooper Dray, who had been brought to the facility to be transformed into a cyborg, to the station's docking bay. The Rebels were stranded on the world due to the planet's electromagnetic storms, which interfered with their ship's technology. Comark informed the group that they could steal a disrupter box from one of the ships in the docking bay, which would counteract the planet's effects.
With the disrupter box, the group commandeered a torpedo attack carrier from the docking bay and fled the station. At Dray's suggestion, they fired concussion missiles at the underwater base as they escaped. The resulting explosion compromised the structure of the facility, causing it to collapse just as the Rebels reached the surface. With the Imperials left to deal with the wreckage, Comark and her Rebel companions left the world in their ship. As the group returned to their Rebel base, Comark reflected on her father's apparent death. Although her cover as a Rebel spy was blown, Comark believed she could still help the Alliance and resolved to officially join.
In her early life, Amber Comark was a superficial individual who fully enjoyed the privileges of her high social standing and connection to an influential family. She attended high-profile events hosted by prominent Imperials and even indulged in high-quality spice. Comark was known for her fashion sense, wearing elaborate gowns and jewelry during public appearances, including a brooch adorned with her family's crest. Despite this, Comark frequented the Imperial Archives, befriending one of the librarians. However, this superficial lifestyle ended after the death of her librarian friend, who was revealed to be a Rebel spy. Comark decided to follow in her friend's footsteps, becoming a spy for Alliance Intelligence.
As a Rebel spy, Comark was not as skilled as her friend, drawing the attention of General Crix Madine, who suspected her of being a double agent. Nonetheless, she compensated for her lack of skill with persistence, filing continuous reports and urging her superiors to follow up on her findings. This persistence and preparation led the Rebellion to discover and neutralize Operation Death-Hunter, eliminating a potential threat. During the mission, Comark's father, Jesco, appeared to have been killed, which saddened her. She did not want her father to die and hoped he would understand her reasons for turning against the Empire. Despite this, Comark continued to serve with the Rebels, leaving her privileged life to work for a cause she believed in.
As a spy, Comark carried a hold-out blaster and concealed her identity with a dark cloak. She maintained preparedness by carrying a medpac and 7,500 credits during her travels to Bescane.
Amber Comark was created by Tony Russo and first appeared in the role-playing scenario Death-Hunter, published in the ninth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal in February 1996. She was later briefly mentioned in the Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook in the short narrative An Old Flame in Need... by Peter Schweighofer. This mention depicted her as a spice addict, soliciting Wendell Wright-Sims to deliver her a package of the addictive substance.
