ZK-294A, an advanced Skytrooper model, served as the command unit for the shield bunker on Hoth. These battle droid units were utilized by the Eternal Empire originating from the world of Zakuul. This particular unit supported the Star Fortress orbiting the planet. However, circa 3631 BBY, the Outlander, along with the Arcona companion Hemdil Tre, successfully infiltrated the bunker, eliminating ZK-294A and demolishing the facility using explosives.
The video game Star Wars: The Old Republic featured ZK-294A, debuting in the 2015 Digital Expansion titled Knights of the Fallen Empire.
