Woorwill

Woorwill, a young Wookiee male, resided in the village of Rwookrrorro back in 3956 BBY. Like many young Wookiees in his community, he greatly admired the celebrated hunter Rorworr. Unbeknownst to Woorwill, Rorworr was actually capturing and selling his fellow Wookiees to Czerka Corporation slavers. This treachery was ultimately stopped by Jaarak, who ended Rorworr's life within the Shadowlands. To shield the younger generation from disillusionment and pain, Jaarak concealed his actions. However, Revan, the first off-worlder Woorwill had ever encountered, exposed the truth.

Revan presented this information to Worrroznor, the Holder of the Laws, leading to a trial for Jaarak. During the proceedings, Jaarak confessed to the deed. Nevertheless, Revan substantiated Rorworr's betrayal by revealing a datapad containing undeniable proof of Rorworr's activities, resulting in Jaarak's acquittal. Woorwill was devastated by the revelation of Rorworr's true nature, but he was able to move past it. Woorwill inherited two-thirds of Rorworr's possessions, with Revan receiving the remainder.

Personality and traits

Largely due to the influence of elder Wookiees, especially Jaarak, Woorwill harbored a deep-seated mistrust of off-worlders. He greeted Revan with suspicion, immediately assuming Revan was a slaver. The disappearance of Rorworr caused him sleepless nights and great anxiety. Woorwill began to feel desperate, hoping that even an off-worlder could assist in locating Rorworr. Upon learning that Jaarak had killed Rorworr, he initially reacted with outrage and disbelief, hesitant to accept Rorworr's involvement in slavery until Revan provided irrefutable evidence. Ultimately, he expressed gratitude to Revan for demonstrating that not all off-worlders were like those from Czerka.

Behind the scenes

Within the game's narrative, it is mentioned that Woorwill, lacking any living family, shared a special connection with Rorworr, although the specific nature and origin of this bond remain unexplained. Upon completing the murder investigation quest, the player is rewarded with four hundred credits.

Should the player choose the dark side path, they have the option to declare Jaarak guilty, leading to his dishonorable execution. In this scenario, the player receives only one hundred credits upon finishing the sidequest.

According to the Official Strategy Guide, Rorworr intended to sell Woorwill to Czerka and attempted to persuade Jaarak to join his slaving operation. Jaarak refused and killed him because of this.
