Veiled Sorority

The Veiled Sorority constituted a pirate fleet organized along matriarchal lines, which operated during the Republic Era. This sorority, under the leadership of its pirate queen who was rumored to be immortal, established its base in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy, and focused its attacks solely on criminal transports. Throughout the Clone Wars, a conflict spanning from 22 BBY to 19 BBY between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, these pirates were generally disregarded by both warring parties, yet they posed a significant problem for various criminal enterprises, including the Hutt Clan, Black Sun, and the Pyke Syndicate.

Years afterward, amidst the war between the First Order and the Resistance, Wilsa Teshlo, a Kessurian of royal lineage, abandoned her life as a thilas and eventually became a privateer within the pirate group, targeting corporate haulers that were in service of the First Order. She once flew a BTA-NR2 Y-wing starfighter on behalf of the sorority. In 35 ABY, Teshlo joined many others in providing assistance to the Resistance, engaging the fleet of the Sith Eternal commanded by the resurrected Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious during the Battle of Exegol.
