The Tuulabi were Human people who resided on the planet of Tuulab. Initially, Ingas Lek, a Corellian, guided a group of 721 Humans to colonize the world; their numbers then grew to approximately 6,000 in the early years of the New Republic. Eschewing involvement in galactic affairs or the Galactic Civil War, the Tuulabi chose a simple, agrarian way of life. They established neither a formal government nor did they align with the Galactic Empire or the New Republic.
