Trigha were a type of large, reptilian predator, considered non-sentient, and classified as a species. They originated from the jungle environments of the planet Ord Vaxal. These creatures were characterized by their green, scaly skin, frequently patterned with dark stripes and spots. Trigha typically hunted as family groups, using loud bellows to startle prey from within the dense undergrowth. Their typical hunting method involved a high-frequency shriek emitted upon spotting a target, which served to signal their pack. Following this, they would pursue their prey relentlessly, showing little concern for their own well-being.
On one occasion, a trigha unintentionally saved Lando Calrissian and Han Solo from a group of Imperial stormtroopers during their time on Ord Vaxal.
