The label "Trade Conflicts" refers to a set of battles that occurred between the planet Daimar and nearby Rodian systems near the end of the Galactic Republic era.
Because Daimar was strategically located along a major trade route in the Mid Rim, its Rodian neighbors grew to dislike it, thinking it was unfairly siphoning off their profits. This resentment sparked the Trade Conflicts between them, with the initial clash taking place around 69 BBY. These conflicts ranged in scale, from minor border incidents to large-scale wars. During these conflicts, Alet Komain served Daimar and advanced in the military, ultimately becoming a respected leader.
