Tig

Tig was a stormtrooper serving the Galactic Empire, identified as a female of human descent. Before Captain Han Solo's carbonite encasement in the carbon-freezing chamber of Cloud City, she was flung from a platform by the Wookiee, Chewbacca; fortunately, she sustained no injuries.

Biography

During the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, Tig, a female human, functioned as an Imperial stormtrooper within the Empire's renowned 501st Legion. This legion was the personal unit of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. She was a member of a fireteam that included fellow troopers Ella, Riccarn, Xander, and Deena Lorn. This team participated in numerous missions together, which led to their eventual assignment, as a squad, aboard the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Executor, which served as Vader's flagship. Onboard the Super Star Destroyer, Tig would spend evenings with her squadmates in a section of the Executor's mess hall, notably excluding their squadmate FS-451. While sipping illicit alcohol produced by Xander, the troopers speculated about why 451 had not received a promotion from stormtrooper, with Tig suggesting that the stormtrooper desired to become a death trooper.

Tig was unable to subdue the enraged Chewbacca.

In 3 ABY, the Executor journeyed to Cloud City, a tibanna gas mining colony situated in the Bespin system. After Vader apprehended a group of fleeing rebels within the city, the Sith Lord orchestrated the freezing of one of the rebels, Captain Han Solo, within the carbon-freezing chamber located in Cloud City. With Lorn and FS-451 already working with Vader, Tig traveled to Cloud City via shuttle and joined her two squadmates, forming part of a contingent of stormtroopers overseeing Solo's freezing. Vader gave the order to place Solo in the chamber, which incited Solo's Wookiee companion, Chewbacca, to hurl two troopers off the platform's edge. Tig advanced toward the Wookiee, who then tossed her over the edge before Solo managed to calm him down.

Tig survived the fall without injury, though her armor was covered in grease. Furthermore, the safety mechanism of her E-11 medium blaster rifle became jammed. After Solo was frozen, Lorn abandoned her post and descended to Tig, who explained the damage to her blaster rifle. Lorn offered Tig her own E-11, promising to exchange the damaged one for a functional one at an armory. Tig consented, and the pair exchanged blasters before parting ways. However, Lorn subsequently deserted the Empire, taking Tig's broken rifle with her.

Equipment

Tig was equipped with standard Imperial stormtrooper armor and carried an E-11 blaster rifle.
