Tau Sekar sector

The Tau Sekar sector existed as a region within the Colonies. It encompassed the Coronar system and shared a similar designation with the Tau Sakar system located in the Outer Rim Territories.

Behind the scenes

A 1990 roleplaying game supplement titled "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," penned by Glen Allison for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and featured in Voyages SF 13, introduced the Tau Sekar sector. This article identified the Calonica, Coronar, F'tral, Squab (referred to as the "Skor" system within the article), Sullust, Tau Sakar (erroneously written as "Tau Sekar" and separately listed from its planet Garban), and Thanos systems as being located inside the Tau Sekar sector.

Given that the article's publication occurred outside the purview of Lucas Licensing, its canonicity within the Star Wars Legends continuity remained unconfirmed. Subsequently, the StarWars.com Online Companion for the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas reassigned all the star systems initially attributed to the Tau Sekar sector—excluding the Coronar system—to different sectors.
