A monument was constructed on the world of Nevarro to honor IG-11. This occurred following the assassin droid's act of self-sacrifice, where he gave his life to protect Grogu, Din Djarin, Carasynthia Dune, and Greef Karga amidst the conflict on Nevarro. The reprogrammed droid's selflessness was instrumental in freeing the planet from Gideon's Imperial remnant.
The statue stood in the Nevarro City marketplace, positioned close to the school's entrance. Some segments of the monument were made from the droid's original, burned remains.
During 9 ABY, Din Djarin removed the head and torso of the statue, those parts being the original pieces that survived the explosion, with the intention of repairing IG-11. Although the repair attempt was unsuccessful, Karga chose not to restore the components to the statue. Instead, he commissioned the Anzellans to transform IG-11 into a mech for Grogu to utilize as transportation, renaming the repurposed droid IG-12.
