Star Wars 41 represents the forty-first edition of the Marvel Star Wars comic book series.
Luke Skywalker manages to get out of his crashed snowspeeder just as the approaching AT-AT looms near. Snatching a harpoon weapon, he dashes beneath the massive walker, launching the harpoon into its undercarriage. He then ascends the attached rope, using his lightsaber to cut open a hatch. He throws a thermal detonator inside, successfully destroying the walker.
At Echo Base, Darth Vader himself commands a group of snowtroopers through the rebel stronghold. Amidst the heavy Imperial gunfire raining down on the base, Han Solo hurries Princess Leia and C-3PO through the connecting passageways. He gets them on board the Millennium Falcon and they take off.
As the Falcon departs from Hoth, two Star Destroyers immediately pursue it. Han skillfully pilots the Falcon between the two massive ships, causing them to collide with each other. A squadron of TIE bombers emerges from one of the cruisers to engage in pursuit. Han leads the TIE bombers into a crowded asteroid belt.
Back on Hoth, the Rogue group members regroup and prepare to convene at their designated meeting location. However, Luke deviates from the group's plans. Instead, he and R2-D2 pilot Luke's X-wing fighter towards the planet Dagobah.
Upon arrival, Luke lands his X-wing in a dense, marshy swamp. R2 emits a warning signal as Luke exits the cockpit. A strange, diminutive creature observes them from a distance.
