The Squall Mark IV represented a seaskimmer design produced by Jerritech. It saw utilization on Jerrilek both as a personal transport option and for recreational purposes. The primary structure of the craft bore a strong resemblance to a landspeeder, further enhanced by the inclusion of two jet propulsion systems.
When operating at slower velocities, the engines were positioned upwards, enabling the vehicle's hull to maintain contact with the water's surface. Conversely, at faster velocities, the jet engines would descend into the water, elevating the skimmer's main body and thus transforming the vehicle's form into one more akin to a catamaran. In common with the majority of seaskimmers, the Squall lacked any integrated weaponry, although it was not uncommon for enthusiasts to equip it with a harpoon-firing cannon.
A seaskimmer was the property of Preela Dorat, and this particular craft was commandeered by a faction of Rebels during the skirmish at Graleca.
