The central objective of the mission to Graleca unfolded during the era of the Galactic Civil War, taking place partly on the Devastator and within the Jerrilekkan city of Graleca. During this operation, a team of Rebel agents provided assistance to Chel Dorat in his defection from the ranks of the Galactic Empire to join the Rebel Alliance.
In a space engagement, the Imperial Star Destroyer successfully disabled a Rebel starship. Subsequently, a boarding party, spearheaded by a young officer, boarded the crippled vessel and apprehended the surviving Rebel personnel.
The captured Rebels were confined within the ship's detention sector, where they underwent a surprisingly lenient interrogation conducted by a Naval Intelligence interrogator. Following the interrogation, the Rebels received sealed ration packs. Within one of these packs, they discovered a concealed earphone containing a pre-recorded message. The message detailed that at precisely 1600 hours, the ship would experience a reactor malfunction, leading to the deactivation of the electronic locks within the detention area and resulting in a nine-minute power outage across the vessel.
As predicted, at 1600 hours, the Devastator suffered a power failure. Seizing this opportunity, the Rebels, with the assistance of the Umarian brothers and potentially other inmates, navigated past the detention area guards, the naval crew, and a pair of R3 droids, ultimately reaching the ship's docking bay. After manually overriding the airlock mechanism, the Rebels launched their escape, departing from the Devastator.
Following their escape, the Rebels discovered an additional entry within the ship's log. This entry consisted of a recording featuring a mysterious Imperial officer wearing a blast helmet. The officer conveyed that the Imperial Security Bureau had dispatched a team to Jerrilek with the intention of arresting Imperial admiral Chel Dorat on charges of treason. The officer urged the Rebels to proceed to Jerrilek and deliver a warning to the admiral.
The Rebels made their way to Graleca, a city located on the planet Jerrilek. Upon arriving at the local starport, they observed an Imperial Guardian-class Imperial Customs cruiser. However, they were unable to obtain any information regarding the cruiser from the starport's security systems.
Subsequently, the Rebels proceeded to the Dorat villa, situated in the southeastern part of the city. There, they encountered the servant droid D3S and Dorat's daughter, Preela Dorat. Preela informed them that her father had departed with a group of historians who expressed interest in interviewing him about his service in the Old Republic Navy. The Rebels swiftly deduced that these so-called historians were likely ISB agents. Utilizing a pair of macrobinoculars, they observed the admiral and his captors aboard a seaskimmer traversing the bay in the direction of the starport.
After borrowing Preela's seaskimmer, the Rebels initiated a pursuit of the ISB operatives. Due to their lack of experience in piloting seaskimmers, the ISB operatives initially traveled at a reduced speed, allowing the Rebels to rapidly close the distance. Upon realizing that they were being pursued, the ISB operatives opened fire on the Rebels, resulting in a high-speed seaskimmer chase that endangered numerous fishing boats and jetboarders.
Having successfully overtaken the ISB operatives, the Rebels swiftly subdued them. However, as they explained to the admiral that their intention was to rescue him and ensure his safety, Preela, who was accompanying the Rebels on her skimmer, revealed her allegiance to the Galactic Empire. Drawing a blaster, she informed the Rebels that she had no intention of allowing her father to escape. Nevertheless, the Rebels managed to either defeat her or evade capture, ultimately reaching the local starport where they launched their escape aboard the ship they had commandeered from the Devastator.
The [Guardian_-class ship, which was actually a Warden-class cruiser, that the Rebels had noticed in the starport belonged to the ISB. After discovering the Rebels' escape, the Guardian-class ship's crew set out to eliminate both the Rebels and the defector.
Furthermore, the ISB operatives directed an IVP-1 Inter-System Patrol Craft, which was in orbit around the planet, to assist in the capture of the Rebels. However, the Rebels successfully repelled their pursuers. With the unexpected assistance of a star destroyer that emerged from hyperspace, fired upon the Imperial vessels, and then vanished back into hyperspace, the Rebels and their newly acquired ally successfully reached safety.
