A Rodian male named Soobu Javeedo operated as a spice dealer on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, he became an employee of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, the Hutt crime lord. In the year 1 ABY, Javeedo was discovered to be dealing his spice within the territory controlled by Lady Valarian, who headed the Valarian Syndicate and was Jabba's primary competitor. Consequently, Lady Valarian hired a spacer to assassinate the spice dealer. The spacer eventually located Soobu Javeedo alongside two Desert Banshee swoopers close to Mos Eisley, and eliminated all of them in the resulting gunfight.

Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Soobu Javeedo appeared as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its shutdown on December 15, 2011. Javeedo was part of the original game release, specifically within Lady Valarian's Quest Series.
Javeedo's appearance was subject to randomization due to his spawning under the "tough_thug_male_rodian" template; this meant his look could vary across eight different possibilities, changing with each server reset. Nonetheless, he was consistently depicted as a Rodian, and quest dialogue always referred to him as male.
Following the August 31, 2005 release of "Publish 23", Lady Valarian's Quest Series was disabled, resulting in Soobu Javeedo's removal from the game.
