The Small Village, situated on the planet Krant, was a city inhabited by both Krantians and R2-D5 labor droids, featuring prefab shelters. During 0 ABY, a squad of stormtroopers originating from Camp Sagol launched an assault on the Krantian Resistance located within the village. Echuu Shen-Jon, a Jedi who had exiled himself, allied with Leia Organa of the Rebel Alliance and together they killed the attacking forces. Subsequently, the Krantian leader reached out to them, relinquishing control of the city's Command center and its labor droids, with the aim of raising an army. This army was then deployed to defend the neighboring cities of Peche and Theenes against Imperial offensives that were launched from both Camp Sagol and Camp Kaxol.
In Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, a video game released in 2001, this location is solely referred to as Small Village within the Leia Organa campaign. This campaign, and consequently the village, is also present in the game's expansion, Clone Campaigns, which came out in 2002. The player determines the size of the army and the arrangement of structures within Small Village.
