Samona's parents, Harovan Toth and Tisha Rostek, were both operatives working for the Rebel Alliance. They encountered each other and developed a romantic relationship on Dantooine in the early stages of the Rebellion. Sadly, Tisha Rostek perished in the Battle of Thovinack. Subsequently, Harovan Toth arranged for his daughter to reside on the Rebel refuge world of Isis, where she lived alongside individuals who opposed the government of Reynon, Harovan's home planet.
