Samoc Farr served as a pilot within the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the time of the Galactic Civil War, identifying as female. She was the younger sibling of Toryn Farr and fought in the Battle of Hoth as a member of Rogue Squadron.
Samoc Farr, along with her sister Toryn, joined the rebellion when they were young, and both demonstrated exceptional skill in their respective fields. Her sister rose to the position of chief communications officer, while Samoc, who was three years younger, became a skilled pilot.
When the Rebel Alliance moved its operations to Hoth amidst the Galactic Civil War, Samoc Farr received the assignment of piloting snowspeeder patrols in the vicinity of Echo Base. Later, when the Galactic Empire launched an assault on their concealed base, she took part in the Battle of Hoth with Rogue Squadron, using the callsign Rogue Six. During the battle, she was shot down and sustained a serious burn. Toryn later discovered her on a stretcher in the Echo Base hangar, surrounded by other injured pilots.
