Paul Youll, residing in the United Kingdom, is a skilled artist and illustrator, notable for his specialization in the genres of science fiction and fantasy. He is the creator of the cover artwork for both the X-Wing series and Tales from the New Republic; the original paintings from these works are currently in the possession of George Lucas.
His brother, Stephen, who is his twin and with whom he has collaborated, has also worked as the cover artist for a number of Star Wars books.
