The Coral Vanda's adventure rooms employed a device called an olfactory emitter. These emitters, working with holographic generators and tactile arrays, were used to produce believable environmental replications. In the initial years of the New Republic, the Coral Vanda featured four such rooms, leveraging this technology to simulate places like Coruscant's Imperial Plaza, the aerial cities of Tranthellix, a marketplace on an Ithorian Herdship, and the crystal grottoes of Berchest.
