Napvansa Tadavv, a Sluissi female, threw her lot in with the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War, lending her expertise as a starship engineer. It was that year that the Far Orbit, a former Imperial EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate, arrived at the space station seeking additional crew, prompting Tadavv to seek employment aboard.

Biography

Napvansa Tadavv, a Sluissi of the female persuasion, excelled as a starship engineer, possessing a knack for maintaining the optimal performance of massive engines. She was known to inflate repair time estimates threefold, a tactic designed to make her accomplishments appear even more impressive when she inevitably finished ahead of schedule. In 0 ABY, Tadavv resided on StarForge Station, a shadowport space station nestled within the StarForge Nebula, when the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Far Orbit, previously under Imperial command, docked after its crew staged a mutiny. With the ship now operating as a privateering vessel in service of the Rebel Alliance, a call went out for new personnel, and the Sluissi was among the many who applied for a position.

Personality and traits

Tadavv possessed a distinctive, heavy accent and habitually tripled repair estimates to enhance her perceived efficiency. She was hairless and, at one point, sported a bandolier adorned with numerous pouches.

Behind the scenes

Napvansa Tadavv made her debut in Preparing for War, a roleplaying adventure idea featured in 1998's The Far Orbit Project, authored by Timothy S. O'Brien. This book served as a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and acted as a sequel to Pirates & Privateers, continuing the focus on the privateering activities of the Far Orbit. Tadavv was presented as an example character of a potential applicant for a position on the ship. The decision of who is hired ultimately rests with the players.
