Myk'chur Finux Zug, a Lannik male, was a revolutionary figure, and a significant power within the Red Iaro terrorist organization. He clashed with the Lannik Jedi Master Even Piell during an assassination attempt targeting the Prince of Lannik and the diplomat parents of Jedi Master Adi Gallia, a member of the council, sustaining injuries from Piell before making his escape. He took on the role of leader for the Red Iaro delegation in the peace talks with the Royal House of Lannik, while secretly plotting a much more sinister agenda behind the scenes of the negotiations.
While present on Malastare, Zug secretly allied himself with Aks Moe, the corrupt Gran Senator of the planet, who recognized an opportunity to enrich himself through a Lannik controlled by the Red Iaro, newly industrialized and abundant in resources. Zug also enlisted several Ffib priests to support his cause, including Hutar Zash, a friend of Piell.
Under the guise of negotiating a peace treaty with Prince R'cardo Sooflie IX on Malastare, Zug's true intention was to assassinate the unpopular Prince. He planned to eliminate a major threat to the Red Iaro's political standing while simultaneously gaining support from the Lannik populace.
After the Red Iaro's scheme to murder the Prince using Akk dogs obtained from Circus Horrificus on [Nar Shaddaa](/article/nar_shaddaa/legends] failed, Zug attempted to flee by activating his rocket backpack and departing the Prince's hotel. He flew directly into the Vinta Harvest Classic podrace, where he was pulled into the intake turbines of Sebulba's podracer and met his end.
