Sard Nightbringer extended an invitation to Morgotou to attend an auction held aboard the Stellar Mermaid. During his journey, Pari' Notgoth launched an assault, resulting in the destruction of his vessel, the Platinum Mist. Although Morgotou managed to flee in an escape pod, his life ended when the pod itself came under attack. A group of spacers, also en route to the auction, stumbled upon his deceased body and subsequently utilized his invitation to participate in the event.
