Miztoc

Miztoc, a celestial object, existed within the Miztoc system. This system was situated in the Irnaj sector, which itself was located in the Western Reaches area of the Mid Rim. This object was positioned along the D'Aelgoth Trade Route hyperlane, connecting it to the Keltos system, the Feenix system from the D'Aelgoth sector, and the Kriselist system of the Wornal sector.

Miztoc City was located on Miztoc. During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire held control over it. At a point soon after the Battle of Yavin, the battle of Miztoc City occurred there. The Rebel Alliance achieved victory in this pivotal battle. This was due to the Human operative Mygo Skinto's initial offer of services to the Alliance, resulting in Miztoc's liberation from Imperial rule. General Airen Cracken of the Alliance later acknowledged Skinto's significance in Miztoc's history within an entry about her in a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives.

Behind the scenes

Chuck Truett originated Miztoc, which was first seen in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 sourcebook by West End Games for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. In 2009, The Essential Atlas reference book placed the Miztoc system, and consequently Miztoc itself, within grid square K-17.
