Mygo Skinto, a Human woman, dedicated her existence to aiding displaced youths across numerous worlds ravaged by conflict, an endeavor born from her own childhood trauma of losing her parents. Her physical growth ceased soon after this parental loss, a characteristic she exploited by frequently posing as a child. During the Battle of Miztoc City, she became a Rebel agent, and she went on to give intelligence to the New Republic after its establishment in 5 ABY.
In 6 ABY, she conducted an investigation on the industrialized and environmentally devastated planet of Reuss VIII, uncovering the illicit slave trade inflicted upon its inhabitants by the Reuss Corporation and the crime lord known as Torel Vorne. Skinto alerted the New Republic to the suffering of the Reussi, particularly the orphaned children referred to as Rust Rats. She participated in a New Republic Intelligence operation, headed by Major Bren Derlin, aimed at dismantling Vorne's criminal enterprise.
After the mission's triumph, she chose to stay on Reuss VIII in order to oversee and coordinate humanitarian aid programs.
