The Y'Trella mission was an operation executed on the planet of Y'Trella by Churhee's Riflemen, a mercenary group who were aligned with the pro-Imperial cause. This endeavor turned into a catastrophe, resulting in the death of nearly all Riflemen, including Vlaydm Churhee, the group's founder and commander.
In their initial years, Churhee's Riflemen routinely took on assignments from the Galactic Empire within the Parmel and Sarin sectors.
However, the Riflemen's leader, Vlaydm Churhee, lacked strong allegiance as a mercenary. He frequently violated agreements if offered sufficient credits, at times even switching sides during combat. This behavior ultimately led the Galactic Empire to view Churhee's Riflemen as readily expendable.
Around 2 ABY, Churhee's Riflemen accepted an assignment from the Galactic Empire that took place on the planet of Y'Trella.
During this operation, the group became trapped under enemy fire and was abandoned by the Imperial forces that had pledged to provide support. Nearly all of the Riflemen died, with their founder, Vlaydm Churhee, among the dead.
Following the disastrous events on Y'Trella, the surviving members of the group gathered on Turcan III under the guidance of Vlaydm's widow, Maydla Churhee.
In the subsequent months, Maydla Churhee rebuilt the unit, transforming it into a fiercely anti-Imperial organization. From that point forward, Churhee's Riflemen only accepted contracts against the Empire, and they formed an alliance with the Rebel Alliance.
