The LC-92 antagonist represented a particular type of security droid. These droids were produced by Stonewall Labs during the time of the Imperial Era. With a humanoid form, this droid's height was comparable to that of an average-sized Human. The LC-92 antagonist possessed the ability to engage in combat using ranged weaponry.
During the Imperial Era, Stonewall Labs was responsible for the creation of LC-92 antagonists. When the Stonewall Labs installation located on Naboo was shut down, these security droids remained in an active state. A number of ZH-28 guards, SWL-5 overseers, LC-92 antagonists, Mechthorians and B1-series battle droids continued to execute their assigned patrol routines within the laboratory complex and the surrounding areas. In the year 1 ABY, a spacer sought to obtain an experimental droid module dating back to the Old Republic from a droideka situated within the Stonewall Labs facility. Upon entering the laboratory, the spacer engaged and defeated multiple LC-92 antagonists to ultimately gain access to the desired module.
The LC-92 antagonists made their debut in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The introduction of LC-92 antagonists to the game occurred as part of the "Legacy Quest" event, coinciding with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
