Kr'saang the Togorian, as he preferred to be addressed, was a Togorian mercenary of the male persuasion who operated during the Republic Dark Age. This individual commanded the Specialist Unit Two Hundred Seven brigade of shock troopers and was the owner of the starship Dar'oosh. In the year 1032 BBY, Daiman, a Sith Lord, extended an invitation to him and several other mercenaries to convene at the Sanctum Celestial on Darkknell. Daiman, plotting to ensnare his sibling, Odion, engaged the mercenaries to orchestrate an ambush on the planet of Gazzari. However, Kr'saang's displeasure with the Sith Lord's preference for sabotage and ambushes over direct combat resulted in Daiman bisecting the Togorian into four pieces with his lightsaber in swift fashion. Subsequently, Kr'saang's unit was forcibly integrated into Daiman's slave army.
The male Togorian mercenary known as Kr'saang, during the era of the Republic Dark Age, was the leader of the Specialist Unit Two Hundred Seven, a brigade of shock troopers, using the vessel Dar'oosh as their transport. Back in 1032 BBY, Daiman, a Sith Lord, summoned Kr'saang, along with other mercenaries like Jarrow Rusher and Mak Medagazy, to the Sanctum Celestial situated in Xakrea, the capital city of Darkknell. Kr'saang, anticipating that the invitation stemmed from Daiman's lack of courage for direct confrontation, aggressively pushed ahead of the other mercenaries to be the first to meet Daiman.
His suspicions were confirmed when Daiman unveiled his scheme to ambush his brother, Odion, on the volcanic world of Gazzari. While the other mercenaries remained silent, Kr'saang boldly refused to provide his services to Daiman, asserting that he would only participate in a straightforward fight. However, before Kr'saang could depart, Daiman dramatically threw his cape to the ground in front of the Togorian and attacked him with his lightsaber. Unable to defend himself in time, Kr'saang met his death when Daiman sliced him into four pieces. Following this, Daiman instructed his aide, Uleeta, to dispatch Correctors—Daiman's Sith police—to forcibly enlist Kr'saang's shock troopers and the Dar'oosh into his slave army.
Standing at two and a half meters tall, with black fur and emerald-eyed, Kr'saang—who demanded to be addressed as "Kr'saang the Togorian"—was an imposing figure, a fact he was keenly aware of. His impatience led him to use brute force to achieve his aims, as evidenced by his act of pushing past his fellow mercenaries on Darkknell to meet Daiman. Unintimidated by political influence, Kr'saang brazenly defied the orders of Lord Daiman, refusing to engage in ambushes. His arrogance, however, proved fatal when he provoked the Sith Lord, as his impressive size and the blade concealed in his belt were no match for the power of a lightsaber.
John Jackson Miller conceived Kr'saang for his 2011 novel, Knight Errant.
