The Dar'oosh functioned as a transport for a brigade of mercenary shock troopers called the Specialist Unit Two Hundred Seven in the era of the Republic Dark Age. During 1032 BBY, the group of mercenaries journeyed aboard the Dar'oosh to the planet of Darkknell, where their Togorian commander, Kr'saang, engaged in a meeting with the Sith Lord Daiman. This meeting took a turn for the worse when Kr'saang provoked Daiman's ire, leading the Sith to kill the Togorian. Following this, Daiman commanded several of his Correctors to board the Dar'oosh and force the remaining mercenaries into servitude within the Daimanite slave army.
